I will not invest in TLS while I read stories like yours.
WE had a service problem recently; our digital TV stopped working. the only access available to TLS was its chat service. We spent 6 hours communicating. After 6 hours Telstra call centre person asked about other services. WE said they were operating OK. She said she would check; said we had 16 NBN services in house and all working well, so TV must be a TV problem. Why couldn't the diagnosis be done in first minute. Why did we have to spend 6 hours to define the problem as a hardware and not service problem?
Second problem. TLS would send a technician. If problem was a Telstra problem (we had been told it wasn't) Telstra would fix. If not we would pay $270 for service call. Contractor came. He was helpful but spoke of Telstra as a distant organisation that was chronically incompetent. Contractor confirmed problem was not Telstra but suggested fix which ultimately worked.
Bottom line: TLS basis business systems are logically incompetent.
