    Biota (BTA): One company that seems poised to surprise to the upside this year is former market darling Biota. The UK government has just placed a large order for anti-influenza serum with partner GlaxoSmithKline, which means Biota will enjoy a spike in royalties this year. Analysts at ABN-Amro already predicted Biota should easily beat current year's earnings expectation
