"Maybe, just maybe (lol) someone has profited."
Portio, maybe your'e right ....
Imagine you are the CEO of a company called CeeCee and at the same time you are the MD of a company called ZeeZee. Five of your mates each have a property for sale and you say "we can do a deal". As MD of ZeeZee you buy them all for $5 million in cash and 50 million ZeeZee shares valued at 10 cents each. - so in total valuing the 5 properties at $10 million. Your best mate, TinTin, then sets up a new company called FeeFee and ZeeZee becomes a subsidiary. You and TinTin then revalue the 5 properties at 10 times what you paid for them making them worth on paper $100 million and then issue 100 million shares at $1.00 each.
Over time and as CEO of CeeCee you use any funds raised through various share issues to buy FeeFee shares thereby putting money back into the pocket of your best mate TinTin.
Some time later and again as CEO of CeeCee .... you send out exciting emails to *rusted-on CeeCee long term investors* ("rocclti") informing them of great things to happen. The rocclti frantically email other rocclti's telling them them that great things are about to happen. CeeCee share price rises precipitously for 7 consective trading days and doubles in value. At that point you announce that that you have issued 75 million CeeCee shares to TinTin for $15 million. A few weeks later, TinTin informs the market that he has sold his 75 million CeeCee shares.
Now this is where you are getting very smart. Using just $12 million you buy shares in AngDii a holding company of CarZar that is a subsidiary of a US company called PeePee. The $12 million slides into the pocket of your best mate TinTin.
So at the end of the day the Mum and Dad investors are left with a bigger share in FeeFee and AngDii and are happy. TinTin has made $millions for his marked-up FeeFee and CarZar shares and is also happy. As CEO of CeeCee on $250k per year you are always happy.
