Nuttsie...very well explained. How is this going to help the economy...by giving $950 to every worker on $80,000. If Rudd really wants to help the workers,he would bring that limit down to at least $50,000,where it would be more helpfull. And as for getting $300 if salary is just below $100,000, well, what a joke, that would be just pocket money for 1 of their children. No way are these cash handouts going to stimulate the economy. Rudd will be the only one getting excited/stimulated. \Getting sick of reading from the labor posters on this topic about Turnbulls decision and the affect on the polls and his popularity etc etc. Polls,Polls,Polls, labor posters have a fixation with the Polls and how Turnbull is getting into trouble with his own members. I see this as a deliberate distraction from a few posters on this forum, a distraction away from the truth,ie,rudd has no idea how to fix the problem, why doesnt he just come clean and say that it is out of his control, which it really is. He does keep repeating his mantra though " we are going to throw everything at this thing" Yes he will, resulting in a massive deficit that makes no difference to our slowing economy and somethimng that will take many years to get back into surplus. Recession here we come ,regardless of who was in govt. Certain people here ridicule turnbull but surely as opposition leader he is entitled to get a briefing on the whole package and be entitled to question some aspects of it,especially as the 1st package was a failure. As for Henry, well he is just a puppet for Rudd.
