Bitzer, botlsy, cutloose have all made good points, as well as verytricky and others on the other thread that relate to the discussion of explorer to producer.

I just wanted to add that the NT govt is indeed willing to fast track mining development as has been shown in the case of MAK, where license approvals that should be undertaken sequentially have been allowed, where able, to be determined concurrently. This stance has allowed MAK to move swiftly to production months, maybe years ahead of schedule where otherwise beaurocratic redtape could hinder development.

It has been pointed out by bitzer that existing mining licenses and lack of native title on tenements also clear the path to development once a JV partnership is able to be achieved.

It would be good to see the Warrego mill brought back on line, and as has been pointed out, this would benefit ERM with early cash flow, as well as the Tennant creek goldfields in general. I hope there is synergy here that will work for advancement towards this end, I'm sure such things are being considered by the gold companies around the area.

Interesting times, and despite fears that the management of EXM are doing nothing because of the lack of announcements, I'd like to hope that they are walking the fine line between saving what cash is left whilst advancing the project by the studies and negotiations with appropriate JV partners/investors.
