I thought this was interesting.
It uses dedicated 3D cameras installed in the store to automatically identify customers who have entered the store and recognize and track their movements. When a customer picks up a product from the shelf, the camera identifies the customer's movement and the weight sensor installed on the shelf also responds.
Customers who have finished selecting products enter the payment area set up near the exit. Then, a list of products automatically recognized by the cameras and sensors in the store and their prices are displayed on the display.
This sounds an awful lot like Hitachi 3D Lidar to me, combined with Shekel’s Product Aware shelf technology. But I have unfortunately been unable to determine what technology is incorporated in this example, and whether it is even connected to Capsule at all.
