While the addressable market is bigger there is a huge amount of competition from Paypal, Affirm Klarna and Uncle Tom Cobley and all.

Added to that the culture is totally different to Australia in the USA where credit cards are a way of life.

Whuoe Afterpay are quoting customer onboarding as quicker than ANZ that's on raw numbers but as a percentage of per capita it's much slower.

Quadpay was losing money hand over fist on 7% margins and how do you expect them to compete with Paypal on 2.9%.

They will find it extremely difficult to add merchants in the face of Paypals offer.

They will be a drain on Zip already flimsy balance sheet and I would not be surprised to see Quadpay wound up voluntarily.

Zip acquisition not working out to well with failed performance targets resulting in stock options lapsing.
