In Cloncurry...
We work in this heat most days...day after day of mid to high 40's, from November right through December.
It wears you down...especially a soft Melbourne lad like me. I really feel for the poor old drillers and fieldies though, who have lettle respite in the open.
I thought I would be safe from such oppressive heat back in Melbourne...I thought!
