and also someone brought up earlier in the thread about wage growth. The entire defence force just got an across the board 2.8% pay rise. Whats that 70000 personnel, give or take. Plus they are still paying there key people massive bonuses. The Navy gave nearly everyone 24k to guarantee they would be there for another 18 months, and submariners got 60k. Plus there have been reported other bonuses for specific jobs. Yep looks like these guys might be loosing there jobs soon. Maybe a good investment would be somewhere around a military base.
