I think you've got it wrong when you state "I respect ... for his opinion, he is allowed to have one. It doesnt mean i agree with him and i dont."
My comment:
Just to make public an opinion does not mean that person should be respected. Speaking generally of course, I don't respect anyone who takes a firm stance on anything that I regard as absolute nonsense.
Anyone can state an opinion; people deserving of respect for stating the opinion and people NOT deserving of respect for stating the opinion.
Why, there are even laws which mean some people who make public some revolting opinions can be gaoled.
So it does not logically follow that stating an opinion must logically lead to others respecting that person for stating the opinion.
