As I make pancakes for my daughter and her friends (love school holidays) and occasionally check HC while they cook, I find myself reflecting and thinking about who this result matters most to and it's not you and I... it's the kids who have this terrible condition and their families.
i can't even imagine how their feeling - 24 hours to go and they'll know if their kids potentially live with at least a chance thanks to regenerative medicine.....or die.....
No parent should outlive their kids and no kids should have to go through this agonising condition.
We're on the forefront of a shift in medicine for everyone and I hope for the sake of the parents I've never met and their kids, that the next 24 hours go as smoothly as possible and the results are positive.
