Raks, if you want to get someone to co-ordinate, I suggest one of the local Rotary clubs in Brisbane area who would have contact with the corresponding Rotary club in the effected district.

Its difficult(almost impossible) to co-ordinate individually.

We are supplying water from a bottling plant we have in Melbourne and would be impossible to organize that without someone to co-odinate with the CFA(drop off points etc).

Salvos would probably havea collection point
