Energex limits you to 10 kW inverter capacity (export-limited to a max of 5 kW) per phase, and they count both solar and battery (hybrid) inverters. So If you have a 7 kW solar inverter and an AC-coupled battery you would be limited to 3 kW battery inverter on a single phase connection. I have a 10kW inverter on a single phase connection so I can't have a battery unless it's DC-coupled to my solar inverter or I spend probably $30K to convert to a three-phase connection.
