I know most of you are absolutely riveted by the Mexican prospects. Why wouldn't you be? The last investor update indicated that the WRITTEN import license approval was close and Mexican authorities are positioning themselves for testing.
Here's a bit more info to add to my post yesterday on the passing of legislation in Sonora for the testing of public and private school students, subject to parental approval.
It seems Sonora is the FIRST State to back the student testing with legislation (shows how serious they are about it!). Seems that in Nuevo Leon, the testing is being undertaken administratively, without the backing of legislation. Not that that matters much. Just a bit easier to tackle opposition to testing in Sonora.
Here's the update:
Approving implementation of antidoping tests in basic education in Sonora
Sonora Congress unanimously passed a law providing for the implementation of antidoping tests in elementary, middle and high school, but must be subject to parental consent.
This is the first state to raising the status of law enforcement's anti-doping in educational.
The Act provides that the numerical results of the tests are widely used for reflection and analysis of pupils, parents and school authorities, but will not be grounds for expulsion, but rehabilitation.
