The problem I had with your post Voltaire was that , to a great extent, you claimed that the victims were negligent and responsible for what happened.
I think you wrote that they had no fire prevention plans and no pump equipment. Well how would you know, and with a fire of that intensity and speed how would it have helped.
Perhaps they put themselves at "fire risk" because they chose to live there but they were not negligent.
