What is disturbing to me is that some don't care about deaths outside Australia.

I know there are flag wavers or flag dressers that consider anything beyond this country as vermin and in fact many within this country the same.

A life is a life is a life.

Each is precious and as important to their loved ones as anywhere anytime.

Let us value every life, all the time, and not just on special events.

As far as preparation goes 123enen, then in time we will see.

What we do know is that is was inadequate, and sympathy will nor prevent a repeat.

Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it. Not my saying obviously, but proven once again.

Don't tell me that there is no answer to avoiding this in the future.

There are but two answers.

1. You don't build there again, and many won't.

2. Building again means a whole new thought, AND that goes for other holdings and small towns in vulnerable areas.
