Well in this case it is bot buying, as opposed to bot selling, so one potential explanation is someone wants to acquire shares without the risk of placing one large buy order which could spark an upwards move in share price and make it much more expensive to acquire their desired amount. But this is speculation, there could be an alternative explanation.
