Nah i think you might be reading it wrong ( or maybe i am ) , currently yes , people wanting to "get away" for a bit of a holiday are caravaning / camping via road trips but that is simply because they haven't been able to fly anywhere . Once flights are back on domestically the demand is going to be pretty big i reckon and all those folk who packed the kids in the car for a 4 /6 /8 hour each way road trip will be selling the porta-potty and bush shower kit and buying tickets to sit in a pressurised tin can with a drink or 2 and arrive refreshed at a destination in a far away and far more comfortable location . To my mind people were either caravan/campers before corona and still will be or like me they could think of nothing worse than caravan/camping, crapping in a hole , taking a cold shower or suffocating in a stifling hot tent ..... but thats just my opinion.
