Ok. I’m a mechanical engineer designer and energy consultant. I work in Energy Performance Contracting building services, renewables and cogen and trigen plants (<2MW) are my things. We differ a bit in our resolve on the climate religion but I’m happy with my take on the the carbon cycle and CO2 and the economic reality that renewables ARE happening.
I follow people like Martin Ford (Author Rise of the Robots) and Tony Seba (Disruption expert) and I can’t leave out Elon Musk (although mars is his hobby not mine) and I’m stoked that the renewables revolution is on its way.
As far as the environment - I’m happy with more fertile air (higher CO2 levels) but some more forest management will be required by the greening effect will create a lot of tinder! That’s the cause of extreme fires not bloody climate change. Go Natural Gas and go EXR! Right place right time.
