Firstly, I have no financial interest in KAU or AUL but for the sake of transparency, I was previously a small shareholder in AUL. It was a short term trade. Point being, I have no horse in this race.

As I said in my first post, KAU is on one of my gold watch lists. When I saw yesterday’s announcement I decided to share an extract of the AUL disclosure where they announced they are “withdrawing” from the CTL acquisition (which i’d come across in my pre-investment DD on AUL) as I thought KAU shareholders would be interested to understand some of the history behind the assets KAU is intending to buy.

You’ve accused me of a “slight of hand” (ie being dishonest) and “not being able to read”. In my mind “withdrawing” is the same as walking away. For my sins I started my professional career as a corporate lawyer so I have a pretty good handle on the English language.
But you obviously have a different interpretation of what “withdraw” means. Each to their own.

This will be my last post on this because I’m not here to stir the pot. Posters can do their own DD and form their own conclusions.
