    Due to the CFMMEU (former MUA) industrial action affecting DP World initially and then Patrick's (latter owned by QUB and Canada's Brookfield), I believe GNC may have been paying a levy of $15 or $17 a tonne on grain exports.

    Given that hostilities have ceased for four weeks - see 'The Australian' this morning - does anyone have any visibility on whether this levy has ceased? In the end, it's paid by graingrowers but regardless, not the sort of impost one wants to see, not that the former Maritime Union of Australia has ever acted in the national interest.
