I am very positive on the fact that Starland Management having introduced the consortium and electing to receive options in lieu of both shares or cash is a huge sign of confidence that CM8 is on track to achieve the large goals it has set. If they were to be paid in cash and assuming the 2c share price then the total shares they could have received was 4,859,700 so for them to choose the bulk of the payment by way of options (7,500,000 @3c) speaks volumes for the confidence they have in CM8.
SS and a few of the directors in the old OBJ, now Welfully group elected to receive shares in lieu of directors fees and consultants fees @10c. To me this is the first instance I have seen such fees paid through options and not cash or fully paid shares that they can quickly sell on market and receive the cash. In order for them to now receive their $97,194 that was owing to them they need to exercise the options first before they can get payment so that is a large confidence booster for us smaller shareholders.
