I don't like it either. It's fair to say almost everyone who currently holds this stock is under water. It could well go to $15; or $10. Gee, I hope not, but who knows. I wish I had waited until today to buy for the first time. Or Monday next week. Or...

I thought there was a chance of this happening when I bought, and here we are watching the price drop each day on good or bad news! There is nothing we can do about it. We're either all in, or all out. There is no point thinking "I should have sold this morning". Or, "I'll sell now and buy it again next week". This is a long term buy (and, perhaps, re-buy) and hold.

As another commentor here wrote earlier, if you track WPL with Exxon or any of the super-majors, their share price graphs match perfectly. As do the banks, and the REITS' graphs match with each other and international REITS such as Simon Property Group in the US.

I'm convinced there is nothing wrong with WPL, the company. A rising tide of increased demand will rise all boats in this industry. I don't mind waiting up to 45 years for a turn-around. Beyond that and the next generation will be spending their WPL inheritance I have a feeling as bad as it gets, the rebound will be just as sharp and fast.
