Debono, Computers are a useful educational tool. But as you say, they are no more than a way of creating and exchanging information (of widely varying quality). What education is about is THINKING. We need thinkers. We need people who have deep knowledge and understanding and who can synthesise and create. I thought this was where Julia was heading with her ER, but it turned out to be a thoughtless, superficial, wasteful sham. We're stuffed if the resources boom doesn't roar back soon because I think we are not equiping vast numbers of our young people with the tools to do anything other than dig holes.
