It has always been the case that when you invest in a company, be it a biotech with a breakthrough treatment or a fintech with the next big ‘thing’, you are actually investing in the management. The management can either add value or strip it away. With RAP it appears to be the latter and I wonder what that translates to in terms of share price?

I bought into RAP just before I joined HC about a year ago. Had I read these threads beforehand I would have steered clear based solely on the fact the management aren’t seen as trustworthy. In fact, when I read the threads I very nearly sold for that reason. As it is I’m up about 30% on my investment and continued to hold because I figured the company was finally poised to deliver in the next 6 months. That 6 months has turned into 12 and I continue to hold because DK, at the recent investor presentation, all but promised revenues before Christmas (a catalyst that I expect would see a 3 or 4 fold increase in the sp). There is no way DK can walk back from his statements so I wait with interest.

I’ve recently become a founding shareholder in a biotech (unlisted but eyeing a float in the next couple of years). I have used RAP as an example to the board of ‘how not to do thing’s’ and the critical importance of earning and maintaining investor trust.
