Straight from their corporate governance pages. First stated goal....protection and enhancement of shareholder value. The statement tells us they should be aligned, therefore can we assume they are not sure how to do this, or they actually don't feel its important, or is there a more discrete strategy in play that we are not being shown? I know which way im leaning.
A question. Excluding any future IP sale, partnership or takeover (given these are likely long term)what are the boards strategies for enhancing and protecting shareholder value in the short and medium term? This year much scientific progress appears to have been made, yet this hasn't resulted, in many cases, in shareholder value return or protection. Why does the board believe this to be the case and is there an alternate strategy for the future?
