I am curious.

I previously read on other PAR threads that some people (I cannot remember names) who had iPPS under the SAS for OA in their knees obtained relief not only in their knees but also other joints. cphil has indicated he received a booster for the pain in his fingers.

My understanding is that Paradigm is applying for approval to treat OA in the knees and the trials are designed for people with knee pain. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I am therefore curious to know, once we receive approval from the various regulators, if doctors will be able to prescribe iPPS for pain in joints other than just the knees. This would broaden our market and help more people.

cphil, may I ask if you specifically requested the iPPS booster for your fingers only (or what were the circumstances you obtained the booster)?

Mozz (or any of our other expert posters), can you cast any light on this in regard to the scope of what doctors may be able to use iPPS for treatment?
