as a RIO shareholder and an aussie this deal sucks big time
As a realist and pragmatist, chinalco is just doing another deal for their good - what happens when you are talking globalisation. The stronger party wins (does not matter which country that party is domiciled in).
I wish RIO had given BHP a chance to buy their assets. The board and chairman should be kicked out
