not sure why you think MTO is ex-growth (pre-Covid). sure, the market has turned down since 2017 - cyclical probably - but MTO has been winning share and buying new dealerships. MTO also have scale, and some new cross-selling opportunities, and new product, which should enable them to continue to gain share.
the big opportunity that some may overlook with this share is the operational leverage. That has been a huge issue when sales are falling, but a terrific opportunity when sales rebound (as they have). with MTO coming off a low sales base (market and cyclical) thre is upside IMHO. yes, it is cheap
