Bull crap you gov'ts need to learn to spend within their means. Beyond an initial tax free threshold everyone should pay the same tax rate - thats FAIR. You should not be punished more for simply working harder personally or through your investments.
For now gov'ts need to spend money to pump the economies - then we need inflation to reduce these debts to more manageable levels and/or some other sort of creative reset.
