    No the WSJ does not suggest going back to a gold standard.

    An independent opinion piece in the WSJ by an author who has previously written a book on the subject in 1994 suggests we should go back to a gold standard.

    Ms Shelton is a clever lady but does not speak for the WSJ as far as i can see.
