I am not taking joy from the idea but virologists around the world have been making the following points:

1. Covid-19 mutates and there are already a number of known variants. Just like the seasonal flu any vaccine will need to constantly be upgraded.

2. Covid-19 is not exceptional there will be further animal human viral cross overs and more pandemics in the future. The so called wet markets and other places where non domestic animals are kept for human consumption will ensure this occurs.

So in terms of AERO it’s opportunity in the world of virus detection future is secure.

Scary yes but more scary is a future without a device like AERO.

The WHO recently said that due to the low rate of testing in India the present numbers are inaccurate and based upon their modelling the number of cases of Covid-19 is likely to be greater than 60 million people.
