It is clearly a conflict of interest. Its always going to be difficult to find an expert in the area who does not have some sort of conflict. Thats not an issue if its fully disclosed. Clearly it was not.
If its not in MSB's arsenal already, it absolutely should be. They can't go attacking the FDA (but we can - back to that) but should absolutely highlight it in their Type A meeting and perhaps the request for one.
In the mean time, does anyone have access to a journalist looking for an interesting article....?
