Earlier in the week there were comparisons drawn between the PEP-11 and EPP42 approval status (mainly because they were lodged around the same time). What is clear is the difference in days spent “Under Assessment”, the PEP-11 application has spent 5 weeks less at this stage of the approval process - which indicates that PEP-11’s exceptions & variations are not unusual. Which we already know, the JV is requesting not to undertake 3D seismic testing prior to drilling. 3D seismic testing is known to adversely affect marine life (please the Greenies).Todaymarks the 90 day mark for Joint Authority Decision (Keith Pitt MP) - which is the target timeframe for decisions under JAoD - time to strap yourselves in and let the misses know youmight not be home this weekend!
