Sorry to burst the bubble but I know that area well and those mag trends are banded iron formations.
In any event, there is no way a mine will ever get built in the Chittering Valley, mining is not allowed under the Shire policy, the Brockman River is headwaters to the Swan, terrain makes any earth works very difficult. They wont even get permission to drill a hole imo.
