My understanding is that accumulated losses transfer to the buyer. How those losses are treated depends on the country in which the buyer is domiciled.
If 4DS was to go it alone and license its IP to whoever wanted to use it they would have to earn > $41 million profit before they would have to worry about paying company tax - but that is unlikely to happen.
