Keep in mind that the Cadia Porphyry Complex is 7km in length (North-South) and 2km in width (East-West). Mineralisation occurs in "dykes", "channels", "veins", and "skarns" to name just a few of the complex geological structures that occur below this 14km squared rectangle of land. Suffice to say, the mineralisation does not occur in one consistent "block" or one juicy "pod". It occurs in numerous (very) complicated structures right the way across and below the area of land. Alkane have made it clear that this discovery is in its infancy, and the fact that they've initiated a 30,000 metre drilling program to test the Boda intrusive is proof of this. I have no doubt they're expecting to find a similar complexity of geological gold and copper containing structures in a similarly large spread as is found at Cadia. The next 6 months or so will be very interesting. I don't think it's far fetched to say they're probably onto the most significant Australian mineral discovery post Cadia. And I like to think Alice Queen (and others) will be partaking in the continued discovery. Time will tell, and good luck to all.
