In the absence of a superior offer, I'm all for this deal.
Why?
- It's the only formal offer put to shareholders
- Refinancing has NOT been achieved
- Other banks have NOT steped in to take the place of banks wanting out
- Asset sales have NOT yet occurred.
If any of the above four events occur, I'll be all ears. Otherwise I'll take the money and redeploy funds.
