Burson's same store sales up 17% (excluding Victoria) is an exceptional result. This sales result will leverage the retail store profit profile.
Once Melbourne opens up the Burson sales numbers will surge.
I can attest to the downturn in Victoria especially Melbourne. I filled up one of our two cares with fuel on Saturday. That was the first time I have refuelled in 3 months (either car) and we are a high km driving family. I have been prevented from visiting my holiday home ( in the regions) for nearly 6 months.
On Sunday afternoon (yesterday) driving around my 5km restricted zone (prison cell) there were hardly any cars on the road at 5pm. In Melbourne that is usually a busy time for weekend traffic in Melbourne.
