Hi CBob & fellow CTP'ers

We've had this Q&A session b4.

To answer yr question, CTP in their model have looked at nearby basins & applied the numbers.

For example:
1) Bowen basin coal has Gas Saturation of 11 m3/ton
2) Galilee basin coal has low GS; ie 3.5 m3/t

IMO, CTP's coal GS should b around 3-8 m3

So if u were working out the gas footprint for a known area, use the 150m strike length of coal & say 50km width & a minimum thkness of 40m (b'coz a depth of 1300m is deemed deasible for a CSG & the basin deepens out with thickr coal, btw the tonnage is for the above no.'s is 450bt)
