Not quite sure how reading the announcement will make any difference, but I see you're talking to rob so I'm only getting half of the story here (and none of the agro).

As any first year market participant knows, the wording of trading halts is always the same "at the request of the company". The communication between CTP and ASX would have been something like "you need to request a trading halt and clarify your earlier announcement or we will impose a suspension on you until you do". It's newbie naivety to think that the wording means the Company just decided to clarify its earlier announcement with no intervention from the ASX - lol.

Anyway, enough from me on this issue.
