The Bankan Creek result is exciting. That puts Bankan Creek back on the radar for me.

I had hoped for more from those NE Bankan holes, but they're not bad.

I think it is worth bearing in mind that the diagrams in PDI's drilling announcements are a little misleading as to the nature of the ore in the first 40-50 metres of depth - at both prospects it's my understanding that the ore in the shallow section is not in veins as portrayed on the diagrams, but is dispersed throughout the broken-down rock. The unweathered rock at depth is both potentially more exciting and more challenging to locate the gold.

So I believe there is much more shallow gold than the market is giving PDI credit for, while it searches for the higher-grade ore in the native rock. But I am not a geo!
