Zionism is a geopolitical religious cult movement which was dead in the water but which was opportunistically adapted after WW2 to establish some place to send the displaced jews of europe. This place was supposed to be a haven for persecuted jews, where they could live a jewish kind of life and above all - defend themselves against another presecution and extermination such as the holocost.
They made the Arabs suffer for the wrongs of the nazis.
(nazis pretty much got off scot free but the arabs certainly didn't)
