I don't think Shorters will hit their target today. Zip buyer volume stepped up to 3m with seller volume around 3.3m.
In the past I noticed the total seller volume drop by 300k to 500k when the Shorters close their positions and so I will be watching for that between 3pm and 4pm.
Another excellent signal to watch for will be Zip's closing auction today as the ASX has hit 7 month highs with +6200 and doesn't look to close the day under that.
If Shorters disappear as I suggest between 3pm and 4pm, then I think we'll see a little pop in the final hour of trade if not the closing auction from 4-410pm.
