Enoch, sorry to take so long to respond( school stuff, meals etc to tend to). Rob put it pretty well, he was a contractor and NG had previously flagged a dimunition of his involvment post jorc.
Also when GEO Jackson had his heart troubles I would expect that Goodz took over for the 1st mining attempt. Perhaps the troubles encountered meant Clarke and Goodz were made pay the price.
I wouldn't think that the jorc figures were in question, even someone with a bone of contention with management wouldn't bring their professionalism into question in a bloody minded quest to exact some form of revenge.
