I'm not so sure about that. Section 671B(6) requires the information in relation to a change in a substantial shareholding to be notified to the company (ie. BLY) within 2 days of the shareholder becoming aware of the change. The NAB notice was signed on 17/2/09. The first transaction to which it relates was 19/12/08 and the last 13/2/09.
Other sections of Sec 671B require the actual dates and volumes of movements - not rubbish 2 month ranges, with disclosures that they might have bought and sold a few million shares, here and there, within that period.
It's a blatant breach! ASIC should have their guts for garters over such stuff.
