(((((I have contacted Eon3 about this topic and the news was not encouraging. They confirmed that a number of Mr. Soons claims relating to SKG’s X10 distribution position are incorrect and that SKG are unlikely to be renewed as an agent. Regardless, Eon3 sell retail anyway?))))

(a) Can you elaborate on what Mr Soon said that was not correct in relation to Eon3 ?

Some time ago Mr. Soon has claimed that Whome had exclusive distribution rights to X10 in retail. He had not explained that these rights were for a few products only and only a limited number of retailers. This makes sense, since Eon3 also sell to retailers. Also, whatever the agreement is, it apparently has conditions which have not been achieved and expires soon. Eon3 also confirm that Whome branded X-10 automation does not exist. The X10 product is branded Eon3.

(b) SKG have the sole distribution rights with Dicksmith-Harvey norman, etc, etc.

You have this back-to-front. SKG only have certain distribution rights from Eon3.

So why wouldn't Eon3 renew SKG as an agent ?

You would have to ask Eon3, but I understand they are not happy with SKG performance and the claims they have made.
