The share price upside from here is tremendous. Deluded shorters have been warned multiple times but I guess they were born stupid.

There was also an Australian article late last night about takeover interest from Vicinity Centres, and that final bids (at least for AMP’s real estate assets) were submitted on Friday.

Looks on hindsight that the AMP board wanted a takeover battle, and they’ve got it.

There are no less than 10 separate billion dollar companies, both small local and global monsters, that have now been purported to be interested in either buying parts or the whole of AMP.

I say let those who don’t believe the takeover will happen continue to believe just that, as it provides a once in a lifetime entry point for new investors.

But choosing to be ignorant of the recent (and past) takeover approaches is reprehensible.

What a bargain, and still close to all time lows with almost daily takeover chatter in the media (from reputable sources).

Wow.

Don’t overthink this. Just buy.
