Can someone please explain this paragraph from the auditor to me?
"We were appointed as auditors of iSignthis Ltd on 25 August 2020 and have not been provided access to
the audit files of the previous auditor for review. We were unable to satisfy ourselves by alternative
means concerning the opening accumulated losses position and thus we were unable to determine
whether adjustments might have been necessary in respect of this amount."
Is it normal for the previous auditor to not share their previous findings with the next auditor?
