    everyone seems quite happy to be calling this a double bottom, but, what perplexes me is that the trend is down and there has been no new high or the like to suggest a double bottom.

    from the chart it seems to me that we are nearing a 'history repeats' episode. For me it looks like another 'latter September 08' decline comming up!
